➀ Survey

Once you have agreed the size, style and specification of your house extension, we will arrange for a technical survey to be carried out with one of our architects. They will ask about any potential obstacles such as trees, drains, manholes, access, floor levels and electrics. Assisting with answers at an early stage can speed things up.

Plans will be prepared for building control and planning, if required, and you will receive a copy in order that you can double check the details.

➁ Building Works

When the plans are approved by the local council, we will arrange to have our builders carry out the work, keeping disruption to a minimum. However, your home will become a mini building site for a number of weeks.

All foundations, walls, floors, services and associated building works are done to, or exceed, building control specification.

➂ Site Conditions

During the building of your new extension, the duration of each stage is kept to the minimum. However, inclement weather, unforeseen underground conditions or variations to the agreed specification due to the building control officer can cause delays beyond our control.

We undertake to resolve delays promptly and keep any additional costs to a minimum. We will also require access to water and power and somewhere to put a skip.

➃ Liason & Inspection

During the building work, your installation manager will look after your project, ably assisted by our friendly office staff. We are always happy to discuss any aspect of your extension at any time. When the extension has been completed, it will be inspected and any minor snagging work will be carried out. In the coming years, your guarantee will ensure a prompt response to any questions or problems you may have. We are confident that our service and quality control will ensure your enjoyment for years to come.
